MAPLE GROVE AMBASSADOR SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The Maple Grove Ambassador Scholarship Program is currently accepting applications from young women ages 17-21 who are entering senior year and older. Eligible candidates reside in Maple Grove or Osseo, OR work OR attend school in Maple Grove. Applications are available on our website, at Maple Grove Senior High School, Osseo Senior High School, and the Maple Grove Community Center. A $3,000 educational scholarship will be awarded to the crowned Ambassadors.
In choosing to be a candidate, you will have the opportunity to take part in the Candidate Leadership Experience. From early June through coronation in mid-July, we have several activities planned especially for you that will allow you to develop your personal and professional skills. These skills will ultimately enhance your future careers and will serve as a momentous experience that you will carry for a lifetime. Now in our twelfth year, we have seen such wonderful growth in many of the candidates, as they have been very thankful for the opportunity to participate whether or not they have won.
While we understand you may not be able to attend all events, we do encourage you to participate as much as possible to make the most of your time as a candidate.
Many candidates have asked what the time commitment is like throughout the year, provided you become an Ambassador. The summer months are very busy as several communities celebrate their festivities during this time. Throughout the school year, the commitment is less, with only a few events per month.
