OUR 2019 AMBASSADORS
Meet Amina Razzaque. She is a senior at Wayzata High School this fall. At Wayzata, she is a National Honor Society student, cross country letter winner and was awarded the Minnesota Honorary Award for the National French Exam. Her future plans include studies in business advertising or medicine. She feels strongly about the environment and would like to organize city cleanups. Razzaque has volunteered with the Ronald McDonald House where she made breakfast for the nurses. Amina is sponsored by Color Me Mine.
Having graduated from Maple Grove Senior High in 2019, Ella Moroz is a freshman at the U of M studying retail merchandizing, non-profit management, political science or entrepreneurship. Moroz traveled to the Dominican Republic through the MGSH Gold Program where she worked alongside citizens to make and pour concrete to enhance their homes. While there she made a friend in a young girl who was shy and introverted but they found a bond and spent time together playing games and having fun. Ella is sponsored by Donato’s Floral.
Grace Mayer completed her freshman year at St. Benedict and is currently a sophomore at the U of M continuing her education in Biology on a Pre-med track with a goal of working in Obstetrics. At Osseo Senior High she was captain of the swim team. At St. Ben’s, Mayer helped coach Special Olympics athletes in bowling and swimming. That experience brought her pride and happiness in making friendships and recognizing they made more of an impact on her life than she did on theirs. She would like to see businesses and schools come together in Maple Grove to use solar panels as their main source of energy. Grace is sponsored by K2 Sound & Light.
